Your Work Deserves Recognition—Nominations Open!

As we approach the end of 2025 with just over one month left, I am incredibly proud of everything that all WTCA Members have accomplished across the network this year. Your work continues to demonstrate that there is truly no stronger international community than WTCA.

What makes our network so unique is that no two Members are the same — and we wanted to celebrate that diversity through the 2027 WTCA Visionary Awards, officially launched at the 2025 WTCA Member Forum and now open for submissions through Sunday, February 8.

To shape these awards meaningfully, we convened a Member Focus Group to help refine the recognition criteria. A heart felt thank you to everyone who participated. Your insights were instrumental in shaping this program, particularly our focus on innovation and community impact.

One message we heard loud and clear was the importance of recognizing projects of all sizes. Even small, grassroots initiatives can have powerful outcomes and absolutely deserve visibility. To show this in action, we debuted a fun, interactive escape-room experience during the Member Forum. Participants reviewed sample submissions while racing to “recover” the stolen award categories before the 2026 WTCA GBF Gala. A creative way to demonstrate just how accessible a nomination can be and the projects that qualify. Now it’s your turn to try it!
