The Candidates (by region and alphabetically):
Asia/Pacific Region (2 seats)
Europe Region (5 seats)
Latin America Region (2 seats)
Middle East / Africa Region (1 seat)
North America Region (2 seats)
The Election Process
Election campaigning will run through Friday, August 29. Members are encouraged to learn about the candidates, and their views on how they would govern and lead the Association if elected. On Monday, September 1, each eligible WTCA Member will be sent an electronic ballot by secure email, along with instructions for completing the ballot. This email notice will also include a secure link to each candidate’s profile and candidate statement.Â
To be eligible to vote, a World Trade Center operation must be a Regular Member (Satellite and Affiliate members cannot vote) and must have paid its 2024 dues.Â
Each eligible WTCA Member is entitled to submit ONE ballot for the election. In completing the ballot, your WTC operation can vote for EACH open seat on the WTCA Board, even if the seat is not in the Region where your WTC operation is located (for example, for the Europe Region, each eligible WTC operation anywhere in the world may cast a vote for any five of the seven candidates in Europe, etc.). Electronic ballots must be completed and submitted by Tuesday, September 30 in order to be counted. The election results will be announced in mid-October.Â
Remember, WTCA depends on an active and diverse Board of Directors to represent the interests of our global network of Members and to help shape the future of the Association. Twelve Board seats will be filled in this election, representing half of our Board’s 24-director seats.
