We are pleased to announce WTCA Board Director elections will take place this year with as many as 12 open Board seats that may be on the ballot.Â
Serving as a Board Director is a unique opportunity to shape WTCA's future and make a meaningful impact. As a Director, you will have a direct hand in guiding the organization’s strategy, advocating for the needs of the Membership, and contributing to decisions that influence WTCA's growth and success. It’s a chance to bring your expertise, insights, and passion to the table while building leadership skills and forging valuable relationships with fellow Members. Running for a Director seat allows you to give back to the global network, represent your region, amplify your voice within the Association, and leave a lasting legacy of progress and innovation.
The nomination and election process for 2025 is currently under review by the Nomination & Compensation Committee and will be finalized by the Board — and officially announced — at the GBF in Marseille in April. Once again the nomination and election process will be based on the direct participation by WTCA’s Regular Members. We encourage all Members to take advantage of this opportunity to play an active role in WTCA’s governance and help us shape the future of the Association.
Currently, the WTCA Board is comprised of a total of 24 seats — volunteer leadership roles — representing each of the five regions where there WTCA is active. We anticipate having as many as 12 open Board seats on the 2025 ballot, with at least one seat in each region that will be up for election.Â
