Mr. Taitano is Chief Legal Officer of World Trade Center Tokyo.

Licensed to practice law in the States of California and Hawaii, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Also registered to practice the laws of those jurisdictions in Japan as a Foreign Registered Lawyer. Was the first person to be registered in Japan as a Foreign Registered Lawyer to practice the laws of Guam and the CNMI.
Primary focus in corporate law, but also has experience in a wide variety of other legal fields including immigration law, family law, trusts and estates, and employment law. Experience in helping various Japanese companies to setup their businesses in California, Hawaii, Guam, and the CNMI, and serves as regular counsel to clients that do business in those jurisdictions.
Has also advised Japanese clients on their M&A deals and venture capital investments in the United States. As regular counsel, advises clients on day-to-day legal issues, which includes reviewing contracts, preparing shareholder and board resolutions, licensing and permitting, and employment law issues in the foregoing jurisdictions.
