WINNIPEG, CANADA - Philippines Delegation Comes in Search of Green Technologies
WTC Winnipeg and Manitoba Filipino Business Council (MFBC) welcomed a trade mission led by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of Philippines (CanCham) from June 11-13.
The delegation visited Winnipeg for the first time and hoped to learn more about energy-efficient initiatives, green building technologies, as well as opportunities in real estate development.
The CanCham delegation aimed to connect top developers, senior executives, and entrepreneurs from the Philippine real estate sector to the international market, gain industry insights, hear latest developments, grow and expand strategic business links, and network with potential business partners. Manitoba is a willing partner to CanCham and the Philippines!
“This is a terrific development and a culmination of joint trade development work by the WTC Winnipeg and the MFBC over the past couple of years. We have been cultivating links through the WTC network and community ties through the MFBC. The Philippines has a dynamic economy and we are here to capture this interest in our province, and match their needs to our capabilities. We’ll be introducing them to some of our leading green technology companies,” added Derek Earl, WTC Winnipeg Vice-President.
Organizers at the WTC Winnipeg hope to see this mission as a pre-cursor to a larger Philippines presence at the Centrallia 2016 global business forum (May 25-27, 2016).
