WINNIPEG, MB, USA - On March 9-12, Derek Earl, Director of International Trade at the World Trade Centre Winnipeg (WTC Winnipeg), attended the Arctic Ambitions Conference hosted by the World Trade Center Anchorage.

Joining the WTC Winnipeg, Jeff McEachern, Executive Director of the Churchill Gateway Development Corporation had the opportunity to present and highlight the important role of the Port of Churchill of Manitoba in the areas of arctic shipping and trade.

One of the key outcomes for the WTC Winnipeg and the WTC Anchorage is a continued partnership to work on trade development in the arctic regions. Furthermore, these two organizations will be actively working together to facilitate a conference on arctic opportunities during Centrallia 2016. Centrallia is a 2 ½ day international business-to-business forum taking place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada from May 25-27, 2016.
