BUCHAREST, ROMANIA - WTC Winnipeg President and CEO Mariette Mulaire took part in the 20th edition of the Futurallia International Business Forum in Bucharest, Romania this past June. She took this opportunity to invite other WTCs to join the world in Winnipeg in 2016.

“It was important to go, to talk about Centrallia, the International Business Forum taking place in Winnipeg in 2016,” she said. “There were a few World Trade Centres in attendance, including those from Istanbul, Bucharest, Cyprus and Burkina Faso, so it was an excellent opportunity to promote ourselves and recruit delegation leaders.”

And besides Centrallia, Mariette Mulaire often heard other WTCs talk about the need to meet with their companies and the importance of positioning themselves as international trade leaders. “This is our first forum under the WTC banner and we are proud to offer a platform where WTCs and their businesses can exchange and interact. We are showing the world the added value of our network.”
