The  Japan International Transport and Tourism Institute (JITTI) hosted the  “ Rail Symposium 2024 ,”  focusing on “Value Creation for a Sustainable Society.” The symposium, held in partnership with the  American Public Transportation Association (APTA) , explored how passenger rails are viewed as environmentally-friendly transportation and their role in promoting sustainable urban development.
