TCMA teamed up with Destination DC (DDC) to host the  2024 Global Marketplace , a signature program by DDC showcasing international travel trends for both leisure and business to Washington, DC. The event welcomed over 300 professionals from the travel and tourism industry. Destination DC, the leading organization responsible for managing and promoting Washington, DC as a premier global destination, places a particular emphasis on the arts, cultural, and historical communities. The conference featured discussions by DDC international representatives from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, sharing insights on their respective markets and strategies to attract visitors to Washington.
