We are proud to continue our tradition of hosting the annual  Washington Performing Arts   and  DC Public Schools'  Embassy Adoption Program .  An experience unique to Washington, DC,  Secretary of the District of Columbia, Kimberley Bassett   discussed how this innovative and award-winning program brings together DCPS 5th and 6th grade students with the world's largest diplomatic community.  Through direct engagement with their adoptive embassies, students experience different cultures, and explore international relations in a hands-on environment. This experience broadens perspectives and fosters a deeper understanding of the global community, inspiring the next generation of leaders and cultivating a lifelong interest in global affairs.
